Monitor Stand

I haven’t updated in weeks. The fact that I admit it makes it all better. Erm… yeah.

SEXY THING IN MY ROOM OF THE WEEK: MONITOR STAND

My old monitor was inches from dying on me, so we had to throw it out. I didn’t want the whole thing to go to waste (the thing was massive and heavy. There had to be SOMETHING useful in there), so I took the stand because I can operate a screwdriver am awesome at computer mechanics. These days I use it as a superior stand for my room’s summer fan (my mom insists on having at least one fan in every room of the house during the summer). It works really well because it can aim up and down, and twists at least ninety degrees, as demonstrated in this animated GIF I made.

Awesome, isn’t it? I don’t know what I’ll do with it in the winter. There isn’t really much else in my room that’s the right size for it and has a need to be tilted around a lot. Maybe I could set my guinea pig on it and move it around until she gets bored and either hops off to wander around my room or pees on it. That’s how most of our games end.
